Antioch’s Gateway Centers will become gathering places where young people can imagine, explore, share and test their ideas, and where adults and families can pursue lifelong learning through different media and the latest technologies.
The new library center at Prewett Park will offer a self-service collection of best-sellers, teen books, audio books, DVDs and picture books for early readers, with computers available for all ages. Improvements at the Antioch Library will build upon a recent renovation to provide enhanced services and collections, with comfortable seating areas for everyone to enjoy. By using existing structures to develop these modern learning resources, we will bring the gifts of knowledge and information to our entire community, conveniently and at a fraction of the cost of building new facilities.
